The Position

In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to work at the crossroads of development and cGMP manufacturing. The API MSAT Upstream Process Support department within API MSAT (Manufacturing Support and Technology) plays a central role in all commercial upstream produc-tion, including optimizing current manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and transferring new processes from development to production. The team is responsible for processes related to marketed products as well as those approaching commercialization for both mammalian and microbial platforms.

Your main responsibilities will include:

· Yield and process optimizations, including downscaled experiments in our in-house la-boratory.

· Creating and maintaining key documents such as Master Formulas and In-Process Con-trols.

· Providing specialized support for ongoing production.

· Managing development packages and writing regulatory documentation.

· Transferring processes from development to production facilities.

As a person, you work independently, handle a complex workload, and enjoy close and friendly collaboration with your team and department. You are responsible, flexible, and have the cour-age and drive to engage in new assignments and see them through to completion. Strong com-munication skills are essential, as you will work closely with scientists, technicians, production employees, project managers, and analytical laboratories. Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you have:

· A Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotechnology, Engineering.

· 2+ years of experience working with mammalian and/or microbial cell cultivation, prefer-ably in pharmaceutical production, a pilot plant, or a laboratory.

· Experience with data analysis and process modeling is an advantage.

· Professional proficiency in English is a prerequisite.

About the Department

API MSAT Upstream Process Support is a department of approximately 35 employees, located in Gentofte (where this position is based) and Bagsværd. We have our own laboratories where you will plan and conduct experiments needed for process optimizations and support. We strive to be a technical lighthouse, supporting other departments and bringing new technologies and inno-vations to Novo Nordisk for the benefit of our patients.
