Today, we are advancing programs in Endocrinology Rare Disease and Oncology. In addition, we collaborate with partners around the world on the development of TransCon-based products for other therapeutic areas and markets.  

We are seeking a User Adoption Specialist to develop user adoption competencies in our Global IT organization and facilitate the people side of change when delivering IT solutions to our end-users across all functions in Ascendis Pharma.  

You will join the Ascendis Pharma Global IT User Adoption Competency Team and become part of a tight-knit, resourceful, and autonomous team. We mentor, advise, and collaborate across functions in Global IT and beyond to facilitate digital user adoption focusing on the desired outcomes.   

You will report directly to Anne Katrine Carlsson Sejr, Director of IT User Adoption & Product Coaching who is based in Hellerup, Denmark. You will also be based in Hellerup, Denmark.

You will play a crucial role in empowering our organization with the digital capabilities they need to enhance the quality of life for patients with unmet needs. Your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • Strategically align user adoption initiatives with business objectives and needs, working closely with teams to ensure that our colleagues are equipped to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients.  
  • Empower and mentor teams to build and promote user adoption competencies within the Global IT organization, providing contextual training and fostering a collaborative learning environment.  
  • Provide hands-on support when specialist knowledge is required, such as creating and executing end-user engagement plans, drafting communication content, and developing learning materials as part of digital change initiatives.  
  • Track and adapt user adoption efforts by providing support on adoption metrics, ensuring continuous improvement and responsiveness to feedback. 
  • Develop and refine organizational change management tools, collaborating with stakeholders, peers and other colleagues to shape and innovate the ways we work with user adoption in Global IT, embracing a fail-fast, learn-fast approach.  

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

Your educational background is less important than your experience and mindset. We’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience within organizational change management, communication, design thinking, or a related field, preferably in a digital environment.  

Furthermore, you have: 

  • Strong communication skills and have the ability to convert complex information into simple messages, targeting the relevant recipients.  
  • A passion for developing visual communication and storytelling to engage and excite the audience.  
  • Experience with developing learning design and organizing training sessions, ensuring that the participants become task-capable.   
  • Facilitation competencies and ability to design impactful workshops with focus on co-creation and reaching the shared objectives.  
  • Ability to analyze adoption trends, identify areas for improvement, and define actions accordingly.  
  • Stakeholder management skills, including engaging and collaborating with different people on all organizational levels.  

 

Key competencies: 

  • You have a proactive attitude and are motivated to drive improvements in the way we work with user adoption in Global IT.  
  • You are empathetic and it is natural for you to seek to understand the challenges users face and provide support accordingly.  
  • You are a strong team player and love to share best practices, inspiration, and knowledge with your peers. 

 

Travel: 10-20 days per year.
