The position
As a Vendor Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Fill Finish Expansion and strategic objectives. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, and driving continuous improvement. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards and achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to support Fill Finish Expansion’s and Novo Nordisk’s strategic objectives
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favourable terms and conditions
Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure adherence to service level agreements
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand vendor requirements and drive continuous improvement
Supervise all external consultants linked to the area and assist in hiring processes, including establish structures supporting onboarding, training adherence, IT equipment, and accessibilities
Manage vendor-related risks and escalate issues as necessary
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can fulfill most of the following requirements for this position:
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience in vendor management and procurement
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance

Digital, Data & IT Product Supply (DD&IT PS) – Fill & Finish Expansions is a program organization - built in a multi-dimensional matrix structure, that’s designed to foster cross-organizational and cross-functional collaboration to shape our future. Our goal is to design and build future-proof, global fill & finish production facilities, with a focus on establishing strong foundational IT and automation that will enable these facilities to digitally evolve.As a member of our department, you will work closely with colleagues responsible for processes and engineering, as well as various technology partners both internally and externally.
