We are a small international school in Ballerup, and we are looking for an after-school teacher who can
speak English with the ideal candidate also being able to lead activities in Danish.

The position is for permanent employment as of 29 January 2025 or soon thereafter.
We expect you to:
• Have relevant experience (preferably have worked in an after-school care or similar extracurricular
program before) particularly with students from 5-9 years old.
• Organise and carry out pedagogical activities.
• Possess relational understanding in the cooperation between the pupil and the home and can
accommodate and work with pupils who have special needs.
• Take responsibility and act in an open and trusting environment.
• See collaboration as a matter of course - weekly, monthly and annual plans for engaging child-
centred activities are expected to be prepared during the course of the year.
• Be generally positive, careful, robust and has an open mindset.
• Communicate in English.
• Be committed and responsible.
• Be visionary, inventive and possesses good relational skills – both when it comes to students,
parents and colleagues.
• Be flexible and adaptable.

This position is part time with weeks that school is in session generally from 13:30-17:00 and weeks that
school is not in session from 8:00-16:30 for roughly two days of that week.
