At Too Good To Go, we dream of a planet with no food waste. Did you know that more than 40% of all food produced is thrown away? This unnecessary waste, along with the resources needed to produce and transport it, accounts for 10% of greenhouse gas emissions!

Too Good To Go started as a food-waste-fighting app and is a certified B Corporation. However, over the last 12–18 months, we have expanded our product portfolio and are now playing an active role in both supermarket operations and manufacturer surplus production. We expect to continue growing our product offerings and currently have several new initiatives cooking.

Our app connects stores with unsold, surplus food to consumers who buy and enjoy it. We have over 100 million registered app users, and over 160,000 daily active stores in 19 locations across Europe, North America and APAC. Together, we have saved more than 400 million meals from going to waste(!)

Your mission

With our current scale and impact in the fight against food waste, it’s essential that we continue creating a product that consumers love and that delivers strong and growing value to our partners. As VP of Product Management, you will lead our efforts to develop partner products across the food value chain.

In this role, you will help guide our established Product Organisation, which is responsible for driving product development and optimisation across Too Good To Go’s entire product portfolio. The Product Organisation includes Product Managers, Data/Insights Analysts, and Product/UX Designers. This position reports to the Chief Product Officer and is a senior leadership position within the company.

Responsibilities

As VP of Product Management (B2B / Partner), you will bridge strategy and execution, particularly in our partner domain. We build many products and features for our partners—from easy-to-use dashboards, to revenue-driving features, integrations, and in-store operational tools. We have over six fully staffed B2B product teams working toward these goals, and you will lead them. This role is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

A VP of Product Management (B2B / Partner) needs a diverse set of competencies to succeed: Product Execution (building exceptional products), User Insights (understanding and delivering on customer needs), Product Strategy (driving business impact via the right product investments), and Influencing People (orchestrating cross-functional teams to deliver). You should be an expert in all of these areas. In addition, we are looking for a rock-solid collaborator—someone well-networked and business-savvy, capable of partnering with senior leadership across a company of nearly 1,400 people.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Collaboration: Building a strong network and working across functions is critical for this role. Build partnerships with Engineering, Design, Operations, Go To Market, Marketing, Legal, People & Culture and the Global Management Team.
  • Resolve conflicts, align goals, and drive execution across departments—up to and including leading cross-functional company “bets” that stretch beyond typical product management responsibilities.
  • Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, and impact-focused team of product managers and product leaders. This includes directly managing between five and seven Product Managers at various seniority levels.
  • Own the vision for B2B products at Too Good To Go. Define product strategy, convince others of your vision, and translate plans into concrete direction for your teams.
  • Manage multiple product lines to ensure all roadmaps are cohesive, aligned with strategic priorities, and optimised for both customer value and business outcomes.
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of individual products and the overall partner product domain.
  • Set success metrics for product performance, ensuring teams focus on measurable outcomes and have robust data sets and dashboards for real-time performance insights.
  • Go To Market comfort and expertise is required for success. B2B products don’t sell themselves, so you have to be comfortable assisting with commercial models, writing training materials and defining product marketing requirements. 
  • Analyse workflows and processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency gains.
  • Join and be an active, helpful member of the Product Leadership team, consisting of product domain Directors and VPs.
  • Proactively develop the Product domain, recommending strategies to help the function deliver on broader business ambitions.

Requirements/Experiences

  • Extensive experience in Product Management and/or Management Consulting with a product focus
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing both individual contributors and senior leaders
  • Experience working in the B2B domain, including the development of B2B products, go to market, B2B product marketing, feature commercialization, and close collaboration with internal sales and operations teams
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical leadership skills
  • Experience presenting to senior executive audiences
  • A growth mindset, always looking for ways to improve and optimize
