NielsenIQ’s Sales Above Market team is focused on growing business revenue, finding new business opportunities and market penetration. Sales is NielsenIQ’s growth engine which is instrumental for the company’s success.
The Retail Partnership leader role is a strategic above market role, to steer all data partnership proposition, partnership and data quality programs within the region, reporting to the Western Europe Retail Leader, and a WE retail leadership team member. It is a critical role as it will have direct impact on retail cooperation, working with all retail market/cluster leaders and facilitate the retail cooperation excellence for WE.
Key Responsibilities
Design, review, and develop retail value proposition for partnership cooperation, both with food, near food and Tech & Durable retailers. Work with market retail leaders and teams on all proposal review and design best practice across the region. Lead strategic coverage enhancement projects for the region, such as retail measurement activities launch in a market, or channel setup. Drive data quality per Retailer segmentation and improvements to higher tiers (Silver, Gold, Platinum) for all existing and new cooperation. Identify opportunities for Key Account data, daily/weekly and loyalty opportunities. Drive full tech support incl. data flow, ERP, API based readiness early during the recruitment pitches to ensure smooth data transfer set up with end-to-end timeline speed Oversee total recruitment initiatives with retail market leaders, bring strong cadence for recruitment initiatives and ensure key missing retailer recruitment (critical retailers, panel health, etc. per distribution/channels as Click & Mortars, Brick & Mortar, Marketplace/Pure Player, Marketplace sellers, ERP & underlapping retailers). Steer software houses and long tail ERP companies for specific recruitments. Engage with individual market on a regular cadence for updates, discussion, and support. Provide monthly summary of recruitment update to region. Coordinate with regional ops PMO on Panel Health expected recruitment. Fast data delivery - Ensuring that retailers provide faster data. Monthly calls with markets to ensure that progress is made to achieve faster frequency targets from all markets in WE. Frequency includes Weekly and Daily data delivery. Each has their own trackers which is updated on monthly basis. Work with global to ensure that improvements are recognized in a timely manner. Constantly check Raw Data Library on progress and pipeline. Best Data / DQI compliance- Review global data quality dashboard to check opportunities in recognizing new retailers to be uplifted to Platinum/Gold/Silver (retailer partnership pyramid tier). Cross check with Raw Data Library and Data Arrival Dashboard to raise for special retailer review; get in special review call with global to make a case for exceptions. Work with market retail leads and local ops team for further opportunities coming from special country panels; raise with global if applicable. Ensure that improvements in KPI are properly reflected in RMD. Bring efficiencies by reviewing all renewals, support retailer relevant yet smart (efficient) value proposition and drive spend reduction program in the region. Develop creative proposition for all retailer rejection and find out ways to partnership. Your profile:
Min 10+, typically 12+ years of related experience of which 5+ at a retailer or in the market research industry Solid sales skills and developed sales expertise in target scope. Solid understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services, and solutions. Solid understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers. What we offer:
