Job Title: Market Risk Project Analyst (Freelance)

Join a dynamic team as a Market Risk Project Analyst on a freelance basis and contribute to energy trading operations. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess wind resources for utility-scale wind farms.
• Perform wind data analyses.
• Prepare wind farm layouts.
• Conduct energy yield analyses along with associated uncertainty and losses.
• Provide strategic advice on technical scope and production optimization for both development and operational projects.
• Ensure proper use of production profiles and alignment with other departments.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience with wind resource and energy yield assessment.
• Strong commercial understanding and mindset to ensure yield analysis and recommendations consider the overall project value.
• Proficiency in IT with strong skills in MatLab or another high-level technical computing language.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to efficiently present results to stakeholders and colleagues.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing effectively.
• Approachable, team-oriented, and enthusiastic about solving tasks collaboratively while striving for continuous improvement.
