Autorola Group, a global leader in the automotive industry with operations in 24 countries, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager for our Autorola INDICATA division.
The role
As a Product Manager for Indicata, you will focus on developing and enhancing products tailored to fleet owners and OEMs, driving innovation through data-driven solutions. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that Indicata’s solutions continue to lead in the automotive business intelligence space.
Key responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Define and maintain product strategies, vision, and roadmaps that align with business goals. Prepare business cases to support development initiatives and drive decisions that support the overall group strategy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including data science, software development, and sales, to drive product enhancements and meet business objectives.
- Customer-Centric Product Design: Engage directly with fleet operators, OEMs, and other stakeholders to gather insights and ensure that products align with their needs.
- Strong Communication and Relationship Building: Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Software Development, and executive leadership, to ensure seamless collaboration and execution of product plans.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to keep Indicata’s products ahead of the curve.
- Product Discovery and Launch Planning: Lead comprehensive product discovery processes to identify customer needs and market opportunities and develop and execute launch plans that align with strategic business goals.
- Discover and Define: Lead the discovery phase by identifying the right problem to solve, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Define and frame the problem clearly, preparing a strong foundation for product development by aligning the team on key goals and requirements before moving into solution generation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-3 years of product management experience, preferably with data-driven products or business intelligence platforms.
- Proficiency in Product Management Tools: Experience using tools like Jira, Miro, ProductBoard, or similar platforms to manage product roadmaps and workflows.
- Experience in Strategy and Roadmap Creation: Proven ability to create product strategies, visions, roadmaps, and business cases that drive product development and align with business objectives.
- Experience in Product Discovery: Proven ability to lead comprehensive product discovery processes, identifying customer needs and market opportunities to drive informed product development aligned with business objectives.
- Experience in Launch Planning: Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing launch plans, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful product introductions that meet strategic business goals.
- Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, particularly within Sales and Software Development teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Interest or experience in the automotive sector, particularly in fleet management or OEM-focused products, is highly desirable.
