Main responsibilities:
- Perform service checks and instrument installations at customer sites/institutions
- Give presentations and training to customers on our instruments
- Answer all questions that may occur while on site or communicating with customers
- Build customer relationships and recognize their needs
- Identify and execute on sales opportunities with customers
- Accurately record and maintain customer information in our CRM database
- Support the sales team with related tasks, as required
- Upkeep of all current instrument policies and looking to improve them in the future
- Discrete and confidential with all customer information
- 80 percent travel
Key qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Life Sciences (Essential)
- 1+ year customer facing experience (Preferred)
- 1+ year experience with GMP (Preferred)
The ideal candidate:
- Ability to establish rapport with customers
- Able to perform tasks independently with little supervision
- Strong communication skills: Written, oral and presentation
- Can use effective questioning to identify customers’ needs
- Self-motivated and uses initiative on tasks
- Quickly adapts to any situation when problems or issues arise
- Motivated to travel across various locations in the US and sometimes Canada
- Eligible to work in the US – willing to offer OPT and sponsor visa for the right candidate
Experience:
- Cell culture (primary, cell lines, apheresis): 1 year (Preferred)
- Flow cytometry and/or fluorescent microscopy: 1 year (Preferred)
Practical information:
The role is based in Allerød, Denmark.
Starting date is as soon as possible and we will be inviting candidates into interviews on a ongoing basis.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
