Autorola Group, a global leader in the automotive industry with operations in 24 countries, is seeking three new system developers for our Indicata division. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company that is revolutionizing the vehicle auction platform industry.

• Autorola Marketplace: a wide range of online auctions for European and global vehicle vendors.
• Autorola Solutions: customized solutions to fleet owners covering the specific needs in OEM, bank, and leasing segments all over the world.
• Indicata: The next generation of business intelligence and market insights software for the management of used vehicle inventories.

In this position, you will be joining Autorola Indicata’s technical department. In total Autorola Software Development consists of more than 65 highly skilled tech colleagues. We work like a matrix organization, where each business unit has their own dedicated product line, designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions.

The role

As our new System Developer, you will be part of a team that has dedicated it’s time to development and to the possibility of working in depth with coding without interruption. You will help ensure the scalability and the future architecture of the product, and you will have the opportunity to plan, debate and prioritize the tasks and projects at “dailys” every morning.

Key responsibilities

• Development of targeted automotive software enterprise solutions
• Design of technical solutions, which both fulfill the business requirements as well as company quality standards.
• Participation in design meetings in close collaboration with our Chief Developer, Architect and Product Owner.
• Participation in releases
• Bugfixes and support that comes from internal support
• Participation in daily stand-ups and other SAFe/Scrum activities
• Participation in cross-disciplinary forums

Our software and infrastructure are built on AWS and Spring components. Software solutions are developed in Java, and the tech stack you will be working with consists of Spring Framework, Hibernate, Jenkins, Maven, Oracle, SQL, Git and much more. Our frontend is based on Angular, which our dedicated frontend developers will take care of.

You will be part of an open and positive team, with a relaxed and humorous tone. We have great cooperation across the teams and product lines, and generally, people have been working in the department for a long time. You will have flexible working hours with a focus on maintaining the right balance between work and private life.

Qualifications

• You have several years of professional experience in software development, or alternatively, you are a recent graduate with excellent academic results, ranking among the top performers in your class.
• You are motivated to work with a complex codebase.
• You have experience with SQL, REST, SOLID principles, and unit testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar an education
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Fluent in English – both spoken and written.
