The position

We are seeking a talented IT Project Management Team Lead to oversee and guide our business-oriented IT project management team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring that our IT initiatives align with strategic objectives and operational goals.

As the IT Project Management Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering a diverse portfolio of IT projects that meet requirements, deadlines, and budget constraints. You will lead your team in managing resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring smooth coordination with both local operations at ISS Denmark and our global IT functions. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining our IT systems, optimizing processes, and supporting strategic plans that enhance our IT landscape.

In addition, your responsibilities will include, among others:

• Lead and mentor a team of IT project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Optimize systems and processes to support effective project implementation.
• Provide strategic input on IT policies and procedures to enhance support and quality.
• Facilitate collaboration within your team and across various functions and organisational levels.
• Promote best practices in project management and drive continuous improvement.

The position is based at our Danish headquarters in Søborg, where you will become part of our competent IT department which consists of 35-40 highly skilled and professional colleagues.

About you

As our IT Project Management Team Lead, we imagine that you possess a combination of the following competencies:

• Proven experience leading IT project management teams that drive business outcomes.
• Background in business analysis, IT management, or related fields is a plus, however, we value professional experience highly as well.
• Great leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and agile methodologies.
• Experience in global, cross-functional environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
